In a Rugby football practice match played at Palmerston North on Saturday, a combined Feilding team beat United by 3 points (a penalty goal by Pollard) to nil. For Feilding, Crane, Gariick, Pollard, Pyc, Rutherford and Fowler (from Christ's College) were prominent. Mardsen. Gunn (late of Athletic, Wellington), Adamson, Ward. White (Kia Toa last year), Ryder. Campbell, Hill, Porter (Buller player) and Brosnan did well for United.
