MINISTER’S STATEMENT. Per Press Association. A\ ELLINGTON, March 25. An ass lira nee that money subscribed to the Patriotic Fund was being expended for the provision of games, sporting, and social facilities, and extra amenities for camps, was given by the Minister of Finance (Hon. W. Nash) to-day, when commenting on the statement made at the meeting oi the Wellington Patriotic Committee recently that such funds had been required for ordinary necessary work at camps. If any money had been paid over for such purposes, said the Ylinister, it should be immediately refunded. See “Patriotic Money.”—Page 4.
