BELGIAN SPIRIT.
LONDON, Feb. 16
The Belgian Premier (M. Pierlot), accompanied by the Foreign Minister (M. Spaak).\in the presence of British officers, presented colours "in the mame of the King of the Belgians" to a battalion of the Belgian Fusiliers. "The King of the Belgians is a prisoner," said M. Pierlot, "but he refuses to recognise a fait accompli and declines to exercise his sovereignty under the control of the invader. The Belgian people will not bow their heads or accept servitude."
