Its leader declared it was much impressed with the organisation and spirit of the British people, also the power of the R.A.F. The correspondent adds that the visit was opportune and si.i ificant, because the Spaniards lia.e little knowledge of Britain’s war effort and potential strength. Even the information in Government circles is derived almost exclusively from German sources.
