SUNDAY CONCERT.
The sum of £43 resulted from the concert held in the Regent Theatre, last evening, in aid of the funds of the Alanawatu branch of the Crippled Children Society. A most enjoyable programme was presented by talented local artists. Air W. G. Black, chairman of the Alanawatu branch of the Crippled Children Society, returned thanks for the practical interest shown in the crippled children, as was evidenced by _ the patronage that night. The following was the programme:Selections, Larkin’s Orchestra; vocal solos, Leading-Aircraftsman E. G. Stevenson; “Flotsam and Jetsam.” Arnos and Robbie; vocal solos. Air J. Brown; sketch, “In the Dark,” Aliss Babette Rodgers and Air AI. H. Oram; Sundborn- Trio; humorous, Air L. Wood; pianoforte solos, Aliss Alarie Atoffat; vocal solos. Earl • Andrew’s; vocal duets, Aircraftsman and Airs _ Stevenson; vocal. All Saints’ Choristers, directed by Air J. Holmes Runnicles; popular ' ditties, Huia Straight Eight; w’altz ballet, Y.AT.C.A. girls, Airs AV. \\ 7 hitehouse (soloist). Air F. AlcLachlan was the accompanist.
