ALASKAN BASE OCCUPIED.
(Rec. 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Oct. 2. The War Department has ordered the initial unit of 29 warplanes and 2400 additional men to proceed to duty at the new 12,000,000-dollar airbase at Anchorage (Alaska).
