BRIDGE EVENING.
An enjoyable bridge evening in aid of the Feildiug Piunket Society’s funds was held at tlie residence of Mr and Mrs L. W. Penhey, Kimbolton lload, fast evening. The tables were set out in the drawingroom, which was artistically decorated with bowls of pale pink blossom. A cosy fire added to the comfort of the guests. Progressive bridge was played and the prize-win-ners were : —Ladies : Top score, Mrs W. Drube; hidden number, Mrs Ledger; hard luck score, Airs Niccolls. Men: Top score, Air V. hi. Lawrence; hidden number, Air AV. Drube; hard luck, Air Croudis. At the conclusion of the evening Airs A. C. AicCorkindale (president of the Piunket Society) tlianked the host and hostess for their generous hospitality. Those present were; Mr and Airs P. G. Miles, Air and Airs V. hi. Lawrence, Air and Airs 11. G. Croudis, Mr and Airs J. Jamieson, Air and Airs 11. Burne, Air and Mrs C. B. Thomas, Air and Airs AY. Drube, Alesdames Z. AlcLeod, S. AlcDowall, W. Green, Hill, Anderson, Ledger, L. Gicsen, A. Watts, N. Hurdle R. Wilton. C. Hostick, AY. Niccolls, A. C. AicCorkindale, Alisses Darling, Entwisle and Clifton. .
