A Britisli war communique issued at General Headquarters in Cairo states: “At Fort Capuzzo (on the Egyptian-Libyan border) during the night of September 2-3 one of our patrols killed three of the enerpy without sustaining any casualties. A further contingent of Poles and Czechs has arrived in Palestine.

“There is nothing to report from Kenya and the Sudan.” Aden reports an air raid on Wednesday afternoon. There was no damage.

Ships and planes of the Royal Navy 'have Ijeen sweeping the Mediterranean and shelling Itaiian bases during tne last six and once again the Italian fleet has retimed to fignt. When still Tso’miles distant, they made for port at the base at iaranto. However, the Italians lost nine planes, and two ships were sunk. H.M.A.ti. Sydney ana H.M.S. Orion shelled an aerodrome on the Island of Rhodes, and another warship torpedoed two Italian vessels. In all these operations wo lost only one plane, In Eastern Libya all the Italian aerodromes have again been raided.
