OBITUARY.
MR H. DITTMER
A well-known resident of the Palmerston North district, Mr H. Dittmer died at his residence in Mocrangi Street on August 28 at the age of 86 years. Mr Dittmer had lived a very ■active life. He spent many years in farming at Ashliurst and Otaki. but had resided in Palmerston North for some ti,me, where he was held in high esteem. Mr Dittmer is survived by his wife, four sons, Messrs H. Dittmer (Bunnythorpe), J. Dittmer (Ilicik&ra), *\ • Dittmer (Otaki) and Henry Dittmer (Obau), and three daughters, Mrs A. Spicer (Levin) and Misses A. and D. Dittmer (Palmerston North). There is also one sister, Airs J. Hancock (Arkansas, United States).
