Miss Grace Buchanan, who has been spending a holiday with her parents at “Mayfield,” Cunninghams, has returned to Wellington. Mrs Beatson, of New Plymouth, is staying wit'h her daughter-in-law, Mrs Herbert Beatson, of Aorangi. Miss Breen, of the Tedding Agricultural High School, is visiting Wellington. Mrs K. Luxford has returned home to Feilding after a fortnight’s holiday spent in visiting Hamilton, ltotorua, and Tauranga. Mr R. Svondsen, who was riding his motor-cycle along Derby Street last evening shortly after 5 o’clock, met with a mishap and fell from the machine. He suffered concussion and cuts and ivas removed to a private hospital. His condition was reported to be satisfactory to-day.
