AIRMAN MISSING.
PILOT-OFFICER P. BRODIE. WANGANUI, Aug. 22. Mr and Mrs A. D. Brodie, of Wanganui, have received advice that their son, Pilot-Officer Peter Brodie, is missing in air operations. Pilot-Officer Brodie is an old boy of Wanganui Collegiate School. While there he won his colours for rowing, and on leaving school he joined the Wanganui Rowing Club, where he soon made his mark as an oarsman. He left New Zealand with a draft for the Royal Air Force in 1938. In April of this year he married Miss Pamela Harnett, daughter of Mrs P. Harnett, of Crieklewood, London.
