“MARCHING ON.”
The People cry for Mercy, and our God will grant their Prayer, The People pray to Right the Wrongs that Ho will yet repair, The People ask for Justice on the Brute Beast in its Lair, Our Cause is Marching On! We Fight for Abolition of the Poison of our Souls, We Fight for Abolition of the Juggernaut that Rolls And Crushes out God’s Noblest work—but Hark, its Death Knell Tolls, Our Cause is Marching On! Our Soldier Sons are Fighting far away across the Sea Wo also Fight for them at Home, and Fighting, Bend the Knee, Beseech the Lord of Hosts to make both Hun and Hitler flee, Our Cause is Marching On! The People pray to Right the Wrongs that He will yet Repair, The People Cry for Mercy and our God will Grant their Prayer, The People’s triumph is coining, do you still refusal dare? Our Cause is Marching On!
