MEAGRE ITALIAN GAIN.

MUD HUTS OF ZEILA. Received August 9, 9.40 a.m. ROME, Aug. 8. It is reliably reported that the Italian vanguard entered Zeila (the coastal town of British Somaliland near the border of French Somaliland) just after dawn, followed shortly by the main forces. The Italian flag was immediately hoisted over the house of the British Agent, the only European structure in the town, the _reniaining ones consisting mostly of small native tukuls made of driftwood, mud, and gasoline tins. Thousands of camels were captured.
