MASSEY COLLEGE.
END OF TERM DANCE, A delightful dance was held in the refectory buildings at Alassey College last evening to close the term. The decorations were effectively carried out with pennants and wattle. There was a largo attendance including a number of men in Navy, Army, and Air Force uniforms. A feature of the evening was the presentation of a barometer as a wedding gift to Air and Airs G. Wilson. The students did this in characteristic fashion, staging a mock marriage ceremony, in which tlie bride was Air I. L. Land, and Air AV. L. AlcLaren officiated. Among those present were Dr and Airs Barnicoat (the latter wearing black quilted satin with silver eoat), _ Dr and Airs J. Alelville (pale blue chiffon and silver belt), Dr and Airs P. ATcMahon (violet crepe-dc-chine and cyclamen), Air and Mrs C. G. Yates (brown satin), Air and Airs G. A. Eliott (blue and white floral chiffon), Air and Airs J. Hewitt (midnight blue velvet), Air and Airs G. AVilson (black ring velvet), Air and Airs Hopewell (blue tulle), Miss Joan Paterson (smoke chiffon and cyclamen coat), ALss Abrahams (lemon chiffon), Air and Airs E. Turner (powder blue lace), Aliss I. Lovelock (black taffeta). Aliss AlaoNiehol (marina blue taffeta), Aliss Alyra AA r illiams (tartan taffeta), Aliss Una Royal (white floral), and Aliss Babette Rodgers (primrose chiffon).
