“AND SO TO BED.”
Starting to-night and running for a three-night season, the Manawalu Rcperpcrt.ory Society presents J. B; Fagan’s famous historical comedy, “And So to Bed.” Pcpys (played by Noel Rodgers) is the central ' character round which this play revolves. He gets into much trouble with his attractive but jealous French wife (Leslie Dolby). When Pepj's is able to render some assistance to Mrs Knight (Joan Murphy), she rewards hini ..by inviting him to her lodgings to hear her sing, and it is with this invitation and its consequences that the play is concerned. Seats may be booked at Collinson and Cunninghame’s, and tickets will also be on sale at the door of the Empire Hall. All the proceeds are in aid of the Red Cross Society.
