MARTON, Aug. 1. The following is the Rangitikei 1 representative women’s hookey team which is to participate in the New Zealand championships:—Messrs D. Field, B. Iwikau, I. Hammond, M. Hutton,’ M. The annual Rugby football and basketball games between the Taihape and Marton District High Schools were played at Marton on Wednesday. The football resulted in a draw, 3 points all. J. Fisher kicked a penalty goal for Marton. and McGuinness kicked ono for Taihape. The basketball resulted in a win for the visitors bv 20 goals to 15 in the A grade game, and a win by 19 goals to 6 in the B grade. A medical hoard in Marlon examined a further 20 more recruits yesterday, as follow: —Messrs M. N. Atkinson . K. E. Ellery, F. A. Fullerton-Smith, fJ. A. Jenkins (Marton); J. S. Wills,'” G. J.
