Miss M. Matlicson, of Fcatherston Street, is at present in "Wellington.
Mr and Mrs L. Rix, who have been staying in Foxton, have returned home to Linton. Mr and Mrs W. F. Field and Miss G. Field, of ltongopai Street, have returned home after spending a short holiday at Foxton. Votes of sympathy were accorded Mrs C. I>. Fraser, in the loss of her husband, and Mrs W. R. Taylor and Miss Pettigrew, in the loss of tlieir mother, at yesterday’s meeting of St. Andrew’s Ladies’ Guild.
It was announced by the vicar (Canon Woodward), at the meeting of All Saints’ parishioners, last evening, that a wedding present is to be sent to Miss L. A. Brown, who was associated actively with the work of the church for 15 years, and who is to be married on Saturday at Ashburton.
