SURVEY REQUESTED. Per Press Association. ASHBURTON. April 19. The Mid-Canterbury executive of the Farmers' Union, discussing a proposal by Mr T. D. Burnett, M.P., for the importation of Australian oats for stock feed,, resolved to ask the Government to make a a survey of stocks of feed in the Dominion before allowing importation and grant concessions on railage of stock to areas where feed is available or of feed to districts where there is a scarcity.
