AUSTRALIAN LABOUR.

Received April 19, 9.10 a.m. SYDNEY, April 19. The former official leader of the State Labour Party, Mr J. T. Lang, announced last night that he and his followers had formed a new party to be known as the Australian Labour Party (non-Communist), whose aims would be to have purely Australian control and the rehabilitation of the State Labour Party. It will run its own candidates at the next Federal election. . Mr Lang has nine followers in the State Assembly.
