CONCERT FOR MAORIS.
A splendid concert was given recently to entertain the Maori Battalion at the Showgrounds by Aliss P. Over and pupils and friends. The programme consisted of orchestral items and accompaniments bv Andrew Perry’s band; Irish reel, Aliss P. Over, Jean Holdsworth, Fay Rees, Zona j Broughton ; song, Mr Baker ; vocal I duets, harmony sisters; song. Miss Over; hornpipe, Jean Holdsworth: tap (trio, Aliss Over, Fav Rees and Zona I Broughton ; vocal duet, Aliss Over and i Mavis Holt; kinkajou ballet, Zona | Broughton, Laurel Black. Fay Rees, Shirley Henderson ; soloist, Betty Henderson; piano accordeon solos, Air A. Ganderton : band item; Hawaiian ballet. Afarie Peach. Zona Broughton, j Fay Rees, Jean Holdsworth.
