PUPILS VISIT EXHIBITION. Ideal weather prevailed in Wellington, on Wednesday, when a party of pupils from the Palmerston North Boys’ High School and the Technical School travelled there by special train to see the Centennial Exhibition. The arrangements for transport and meals at Wellington during the day were identical with those of the previous day, when a party ol primary school children from Palmerston North visited the Exhibition. The secretary of the Wellington Education Board (Mr Deavoll) was responsible for the organisation at Wellington, which was carried out in a. most creditable manner. At the Exhibition the pupils visited the various pavilions in groups in the charge of masters. Later in the afternoon they were given a period of “free” time to visit any part of the Exhibition they wished to see again. Tlie party was treated with the utmost courtesy b.v officials of the Railway Department, Tramway Department, Wellington Education Board arid the Centennial Exhibition. The thanks of the party are due to Mr A. E. ATansford (Mayor) and those who co-operated with him in making possible the treat.
