(From o'ir Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, March 21. Mr .T. Sicvcrs, who lius been iii very in—different health. has entered a private liospital at Palmerston North to undergo an operation. Mr It. E. Downes has been appointed president of the (Haiti branch of the Labour Party, with Mr Lycette as vice-president. Air M. Larsen and .Miss F. Batten, who are shortly to he married, were entertained at a pantry lea recently. Several local soldiers were entertained last night and made the recipients of wallets. Mr L. G.
