(From Our Own Correspondent.) UMUTOI, March 21. A jollv time was spent at the Utuwai ITall at a gift evening arranged for Aliss Ruby Sixtus and Air ft. Hayes, of Unnitoi, who are shortly to be married. The time was spent in dancing. Mr E. Signal acting as M.C. Novelty dances wore won by Miss D. Sixtus and Afr L. Pawson (Monte Carlo) and Aliss P. Enright and Ah- F. Harvey (lucky spot). Three small girls. Shirlcv Biickinaii. Koaren Jensen, and Pam Forbes presented Aliss Sixtus and her mother each with a bouquet. _ arid Air Hayes with a buttonhole. Mr Signal asked llie voung couple to accept the many gifts with the host wishes from all present. Mr Haves returned thanks on behalf of Alias Sixtus and himself. .Music for the dancing was supplied by Alesdames I*,. Buekinan and J. Smith, and Messrs E. Clmrclicr. F. Harrow 'l'. Signal, E. Buekman, and J. Oawood.
