SYDNEY SHARE DEALS.
SYDNEY, March 20. On ihc Sydney Stock Exchange to-day industrial shares continued steady to firmer with a widening inquiry for front rank issues. Sales included Com. Bank of .Sydney, £lB 13s; Bank of New Zealand, £1 16s; Htiddarl. Parker. £2 15s; Cl. J. Coles, £3 9s 6(1; Woolwortlis, Ltd.,, £1 Is l,d; Tooth and Co.. N.Z. delivery, £2 12s; Mort’s Dock, 17s 3d; Henry Jones, £2 15s 3d; Broken Hill Proprietary, £2 6s 6d; Austral-N.Z. Gold, £1 8s; Araliura Gold, £1 13s. Higher Prices For Ewes. Six ewe fairs were held at Matnwhero (Gisborne) this slimmer, commencing on January 16, and in all 59,200 ewes were offered. Prices were on a higher level l-lian a year ago by several shillings a head.
