CHURCHES OF CHRIST

During Piaster week-end the Dominion conterence of the churches which are simply known as Churches of Christ will meet in Auckland under the presidency of Mr A. Donald, a prominent business man of the Queen City, Dr. Oldfield, of Bengal, India, will be the fraternal delegate from Australia. Among those who are to attend tiie conference will be Mr H. Grinstead, who will represent the headquarters of the New Zealand Alliance, Messrs G. R. Stirling, F. G. Pullyn, M. Dearsley and J. Hollows, who are the official delegates of the Campbell Street Church of Christ, Palmerston North. Mr Stirling will be one of the official speakers at the conference. Mr L. Usmar will make his first appearance as Dominion evangelist. Mr Usmar was a Pctone youth who went through the college at Dunedin and for some years has been leading the church work at Gisborne. The delegates left by the Limited express last night.
