NEW FACTORY OPENS.
The now Colgate-Palmolive model factory at Fetone, is now in operation. The worldfamous products manufactured by the house arc now being made in New Zealand under the most hygienic and congenial conditions by a competent and highly-trained staff. Every product has a reputation, built up from intensive research over a long period of years and standardised by stringent laboratory control. More especially is this evidenced in the raw materials used in the manufacture of every product. The formula for the manufacture of the firm's soap, for instance, represents the very acme of perfection in the blending of the two essential oils —palm and olive —which have been considered through the centuries-as the most beautifying oils for the skin. Other products now being made in New Zealand by the firm include dental cream and shaving cream. Up-to-date, scientifically controlled laboratories have been installed for the manufacture of cashmere bouquet cosmetics and toilet preparations. This New Zealand plant is the newest addition to a worldwide organisation, established in practically every country in the world, and. being tho latest addition, lias all the most modern ; equipment that expense and skill can pr<»i duce to manufacture perfect product*.
