NEAV YEAR PAIRS. POST-SECTION PLAY. The Manawatu Bowling Centre’s New Tear pairs tournament was continued to-day, when the first round of post-section play was decided on the Manawatu and Hokowlntu greens, both of which were in excellent order and inclined to he fast. The Lyall Bay four skipped by J. B. Pieid was runner-up, and J. R. Smith (Kelburn) beat H. P. Pcry (Thorndon) in the game between the unsuccessful semi-finalists for third and fourth places.
