MOTOR-CYCLIST SUCCUMBS.

COLLISION AT B(JNNYTHORPE. Receiving head injuries nntl.a compound fract\ire of the left leg in a head-on collision with a car at Bunnythorpe at 7.25 p.m. on Saturday, Kenneth Nilsson, aged 19, of Range Road, WoodvilJe, succumlwd in the Palmerston North Hospital shortly before midnight last night. The accident occurred only a quarter of a. mile from Bunnythorpe towards Feilding. It is understood tliat deceased pulled out to overtake ia ear and ran straight into an approaching vehicle driven by Mr Archibald Cyril Spicer, of Feilding. It was raining hard at the time. Mr Nilsson, who was aged about 20 years, was the only son of Mr and Mrs H. S. Nilsson. of Ahuatpuranga block. Ho was born and educated in the "Woodville district, and was of a mechanical turn of mind. Mr Nilsson took a keen interest in aviation, being a member of the Wairarapa Aero Club. The sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended to the bereaved parents, savs the "Evening Standard's" Woodville correspondent.
