MANAWATU CLUB. As no official competition was scheduled on the Hokowhitu Jinks on Saturday, further matches in the B. and A. and McLcnnan Cups were played. The results were: B. AND A. CUT. C. McDonald, 39 points; E. P. Chapman and N. G. Grant, 30 points; F. G. Jolly and A. \V. Chapman. 37 points; S. AV. Paplcv and B. Marsaek. 37 points. The Manawatu club will be playing Napier at Waiohiki (Napier) at the end of next week. On Saturday. August 19. there will he the dinner at the club house and the competition that day will be in connection with the 3.5 Cup'presented by Mr L. A. Abraham, the conditions for which have been altered. In order to get a quick decision there will be a qualifying round, the sixteen best net scorers playing off the following day in a bogey handicap.
