RANGITIKEI.
AI ALTON, July 31. At the age of 82 years, the death occurred at her home. Calico Line, of Mrs Arthur W. Fullerton-Smith, one of the Rangitikei district’s early pioneers. Airs Fullerton-Smith was horn in Yorkshire. England, in 1857. She was before her marriage Aliss. Sophe Geraldine Surtees, and she married Mr Arthur Weston Fullerton-Smith prior to coming out. to New Zealand in the early ’eighties. The couple came to Alarton and farmed a property at Burnham Wood, later settling at Calico Line. Ah Fnllertoii-Sniitli died on April 1, 1920. Airs Fullerton-Smith was an ardent worker for St. Stephen’s Church. She leaves two daughters. Airs 1. Cruickslinnk (Otorohnnga) and Aliss C. Fullerton-Smith (Mnrton). and five sons. Francis (Unnor Tntacnni), Richard (England). Ralph (Taumarnnui), Kenneth (Taihane), and Christopher (Te Kowhni). Another son, Rereival, was killed in the Great War. There are 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
