GERMANY AND RUMANIA. LONDON, July H. Far-reaching differences are likely to arise between Germany and Rumania, in connection with trade, savs the Bucharest correspondent of the Daily Telegraph. Germany, at present, is asking for Rumania’s entire wheat surplus, but Rumania cannot agree, because of her obligations to Britain and France. The Rumanians feel that Germany is striving to bring pressure on them by backing the Bulco-Hungarinn revisionists, which conflicts with German assurances, given in March, that if the new trade ag rocment was signed, no anti-Rumanian territorial claims would be pressed. Furthermore, the Rumanians point out tint's Germany’s present demands exceed the scope of tlio trade pact. A German agricultural delegation, at present in Rumania, has tabled a list of demands, including even the type of crop Rumania should grow to satisfy Germany. This treatment has aroused widespread resentment.
