While the House of Lords is rushim" the Prevention of Violence hill, empowering l the police to conduct a vast round-up, members of the I.R.A. are striking their final blows, dozens of public ’phones being put out of action in the West End this morning.
The police have intensified precautions throughout Britain as a result of information that last-minute bombings are planned. The public is to bo excluded from, the House of Parliament this week-end, A number of detectives have been ordered to bo ready to travel on the 8.45 p.m. boat train to Holyhead.
It is believed a Reserve Fleet destroyer will convey the deported people to Dublin. At least 11>J have been marked down.
Three persons wore remanded in the Bow Street court to-day on charges connected with the King’s Cross station bombings.

EXPULSION ORDERS SIGNED,
Received July 29, 9.55 a.m. LONDON, July 28. The House of Lords to-dav passed the third reading of the Prevention ol Violence Bill, and the House of Commons agreed to their amendments. The Royal Assent was given immediately. Sir John Simon (Chancellor of the Exchequer), under the Act, considered 30 cases and signed eight expulsion orders.
The Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police (Sir Philip Game) and the Provincial Chief Constables from the storm centres discussed to-day the detailed enforcement of the Act. A woman handed a narccl over in an eating-house at Birkenhead docks saying, “tin's is Paddy Bogan’s Dinner.” The attendant, hearing a ticking noise opened the parcel and found a. homb timed to go off at 1 2.30 p.m. when the hut would be full of workers having lunch.
