’Clio New Zealand Farmers’ Co-oji. Distributing Coy., Ltd., Fcilding, have received the following cable on the London wool sales:-
Prices compared with those at the close of the last series wero: —Sujierior, medium to good, inferior to medium, greasy Merinos, 7} jior cent up, 5} jier cent to 7} per cent tiji, 5 per cent ton?} per cent uji; scoured Merinos, jiar to 5 per cent down, par to 5 per cent down, unchanged: greasy crossbreds, 7} jier cent up to 10 per cent, to 10 per cent tip; scoured crossbreds, 71 j>er cent iip, 5 lier cent up. 5 jier cent up; stipes 5 jier cent up, 5 per cent uji, 5 per cent uji. Closing values were, in the following order: —Merinos, Is 2}d to Is 6}d, lljd to Is Ojd; 9to lljd; scoured Meijincs, Is 6d to 2s Id, Is 2d to Is s}d, 101,(1 to Is licl: greasy crossbreds, lljd to Is lid, lljd to Is lid, lOjd to Is Oid; scoured crossbreds, Is 6id to 2s Id, Is to Is 4id. lOd to Is 3d; stipes. Is 2d to Is sd, Is 2d to Is 4id, Is to Is Oid. Total sold : 76,000 bales: to Home trade, 55.000; to Continent, 21.000: to America, nil; carried forward, 39,000.
