RAIL EXCURSION.
The Railway Department announces that the next of its attractive week-end excursions to Auckland and Franktcn Junction has been arranged for the week end 4tli7lh August. The excursion train leaves Wellington on the Friday night (4tli and ar rives at Auckland on the Saturday morning. The return train leaves Auckland at, 3.5 p.in., Sunday (6th), and arrives Wellington 6.35 a.in.. Monday. The fares arc at a cheap rate with free reservation of seats. The excursion covers all stations in the Manawatu. Wairarapa and Hawke’s Bay districts. See advertisement in this issue.
