MOTOR-CYCLING.
The annual meeting of the Manawa-tu-Orion Club was held in Palmerston North on Thursday. Mr E. V. West presided. The day of the annual race meeting was fixed for January 22, and application is to he made to the A.C.U. for that date. The election of officers resulted:—Patron, Mr li. Palmer; president, Mr E. V. West; vice-presidents, eight were elected ; secretary and treasurer, Mr P. T. Robinson; committee, Messrs T. R. Deakin, E. l“nk, D. Collison, R. Styles, G. Zaloum, H. Robson, F. Wliiteombe, C. Gore, M. Andrews, F. Farland, F. Nesdale; delegate to A.C.U., Mr E. Pink; club captain, Mr Pi Styles; vice-captain, Mr D. Collison. Following tlie meeting miniature films dealing with motor-cycling and items of general interest were screened.
