GREAT FLOODS.
SUFFERING IN CHINA. WARFARE HAMPERED, PEKING, July 27. Torrential rains and disastrous floods have stopped the Japanese operations in North China. Thousands have been rendered homeless. The town of Tungchow has been engulfed. Shanghai reports that a China Inland Mission member. Miss G. A. Rtigg, lias been missing for three months in Kiangsi Province. The British Consul is investigating.
