MOTORING FATALITY

ONE KILLED; FIVE INJURED. Per Press Association. NELSON, July 17. Owing to a tyre bursting, a sedan motor-car with six occupants got out of control when descending the Stoke side of Bishopdale Hill oil Saturday evening and turned over, becoming a complete wreck so far as the body work \yas concerned. All the occupants were taken to hospital. Charles Knight, aged 58, late of Christchurch, a butcher, died on Sunday morning of internal injuries. M. Bourne, of Takaka, the driver, has head injuries; condition not serious.

Colin Berkett, of Hope, severe facial cuts ; condition not serious. Mi ss Doris Berkett, of Hope, a broken collarbone. Miss Rata Kenning, an injured back D. M. McLaren, shock and bruises.
