INTER-CLUB DEBATE

At Massey College, on Thursday evening, a debate took place for the challenge cup presented for competition. There was a large attendance of students and members of the Palmerston North Debating Society, who provided the contending team. The subject was: “That education in New Zealand fails to equip us for everyday life.” The adjudicator was Mr F. 6. Opie, who awarded the cup to the college team by the margin of two points.
