FIVE-YEAR CRUISE.
YACHT REACHES ENGLAND. LONDON, June 28. The 32-foot yacht Driac entered Portsmouth yesterday after completing a five-year cruise of 50 000 miles. The original crew comprised Mr A. n. MaePhcrson. Commodore of the Portsmouth Sailing Club, and Mr William Leng, who departed as skipper and returned as owner, Mr MacPliorson having given him the yacht. When at Durban a doctor ordered Mr MacPherson to abandon sea life.The route was bv way of the. West Indies, Mexico, Bermuda, Gibraltar, the Rod Sea, Colombo, the East Indies, North Australia, Madagasca and Durban, where a .journalist replaced Mr MaePhcrson for the homeward voyage.
