(United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.-—C'opyrigh t.) Received July 15, 10.50 u.m. LONDON, July 14. To the horror of hundreds lining the Dyce Aerodrome, Aberdeenshire. the wheel of the Duke of Kent’s ’plane bogged when taki o'_ off to-d ay. The machine spun round and before anyone could reach the door of the cabin the Duke of Kent opened it unconcernedly, stepped out smoking a cigarette, and smiled broadly.

The Duke bowed in acknowledgment of cheers, and walked to the administration building, where he was advised to entrain for London. It is stated that conditions at the aerodrome were unsuitable for flying. The Duke of Kent had been fulfilling a number of engagements arranged by the Herring Industry Board.
