SIR HARRY BATTERBEE.

CONCLUSION OF VISIT. Sir Harry Batterbee, High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in New Zealand, visited Massey College on Saturday morning, being shown round the college, the farm, the Dairy Research Institute and the Plant liesearch Station by Professor G. S. Peren. 'There were also present Messrs A. E. Mansford, L. H. Collinson, O. Monrad (members of the College Council), K. A. Henderson (president of the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce) and Canain S. Holm (president of the Wellington Chamber). Sir Harry was entertained at luncheon by the Manawntu and West Coast A. and P. Association, also present being Messrs C. E. Vile (president of the association), B. E. Keillor (senior vicepresident), M. A. Eliott (treasurer), A. F. Mansford, K. A. Henderson. Hon. •J. G. Cobbe. M.P., Air J. Ilodgpns, M.P.. and Mr J. A. Nash (a member of the committee of the association). Sir Harry left for Wellington after declaring the Show open on Saturday and witnessing a part of the Moascar Cup Rugby match.
