SOUTH AFRICAN TOURISTS.
IMPRESSED WITH DOAfINION. “AVe like New Zealand very much and think it is a very fine country; these are the general impressions we have obtained in the short time we have been here,” said Air F. T. Alullavcy, of Johannesburg, South. Africa, who is leader of a party of six tourists who wore in Palmerston North, yesterday, for a brief stay on their way to Napier. The partv, added Air Alullavey, had stayed for some weeks in Australia, “and while we were there.” he continued, “it did nothing else hut rain, so it is quite a change to come to the fine days in New Zealand.” “On our short trip from Wellington wc have been struck bv your marvellous roads,” Air Alnllave.v said. “They are far ahead of anything we have in South Africa. Also your hospitality is wonderful, and wc have found many friends in this country already. 1 ’ The party are making a short, motor tour of the North Island and loft early in the afternoon for Nanier, whence they will continue to Rotorua and Auckland. They will return through the centre of the island and sail from Wellington for home.
