BASKETBALL.

The annual meeting of the Woodville Old Girls’ Basketball Club was held last evening at the residence of All's F. AI. Burlace. There was a grntifyingly large attendance of both old members and new. It was decided to hold a dance in May, and the arrangements were left in the hands of the secretary (ATiss R. Burlace). Aliss N. Squires was elected captain of the A team and Aliss G. Cann vice-captain. Aliss E. Beale was appointed captain of the B team and Aliss AT. Brothcrstone vicecaptain. The subscription was fixed at 2s 6d in place of 2s last year, and the uniforms are to remain the same. Alisscs E Beale and P. Pilcher are to be the club's delegates to the annual meeting of the Bush Basketball Association. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to Airs Burlace for the use of her home.
