SUPREME COURT OFFICERS.
CHANGES ANNOUNCED. MR CLARIDGE TRANSFERRED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 29. Promotions among Court officers consequent upon recent retirements were announced by Mr T. Mark, Public Service Commissioner, to-day. Mr G. S. Clark. Registrar of the Supreme Court at Hamilton, has been appointed Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington in place of Mr W. W. Samson, who is retiring at the end of this month. Mr E. G. Rhodes, Deputy-Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at Gisborne. MrP. D. Leahy, Deputy-Registrar of the Supremo Court at Christchurch, is to be Deputy-Registrar of the Supreme Court at 'Wellington. Mr A. E. Reynolds, clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Wellington, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at Hamilton. Mr J. T. A. Beaumont, clerk of tho Supreme Court at Wellington, is to he second clerk and Deputy-Registrar of the Supreme Court at Palmerston North. Mr A. L. Trpsidder, Registrar of the Supreme Court at Nelson, is to be clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Wellington. Mr A. J. Bennetts, second clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Christchurch, is to lie Registrar of the Supreme Court at Blenheim. Mr W. Parker, Registrar of the Supreme Court at Westport, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at Nelson. Hr O. 0. Pratt, clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Hawera, is to he Registrar of the Supreme Ccurt at Wanganui. Mr A. R. C. Claridgc. second clerk of the Magistrate’s Court and Deputy-Registrar of the Supreme Court at Palmerston North, is to he clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Hawera. Mr F. S. It. Knight, clerk of the Magistrate’s Court and acting-Registrnr of tlie Supreme Court at Auckland, is to he Registrar of the Supreme Court at Auckland. Mr 11. V. Jerred. deputy clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland, is to be clerk of the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland. Mr T. P. Pain, Deputy-Registrar of the Supreme Court at Dunedin, is to be Registrar o fthe Supreme Court at Whangarei, Mr IV. J. Blacker, clerk of the Court at Gore, is to bo Registrar of the Supreme Court at 'Westport. Dir J. J. W. Poolcv, clerk of the. Court at Ashburton, is to be clerk of the Court at Gore. Mr A. E. Dobbie. Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wanganui, is to he Registrar of the Supreme Court at Invercargill. Dir Claridge Has been stationed at Palmerston North for about two years, and his successor, Mr Beaumont, was the first secretary of the Wellington District Mortgage Adjustment Commission. Dir F. S. R-. Knight was formerly Registrar of the Supreme Court at Palmerston North for some years, and Dir Pain was likewise stationed .a.t this centre for a. period as Deputy-Regis-trar of tho Supreme Court.
