There will be 24 of a staff in the local office, and district agents in Dannevirke, Eeilding and Levin will have, between them, a staff of 12. All monetary benefits, with the ex- ■ ception of matters relating to sickness | and unemployment, will be handled by | the principal office, but in cases of ij sickness and unemployment the district | agents will act so as to prevent any | delay and consequent hardship. \ “The object in amalgamating the .. sections mentioned is very obvious, ■ said Mr Donovan to a “Standard re- t porter to-day.
