PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.

At the Pahiatua stock sale this week a small yarding of botli sheep and pigs wore offered to a fair attendance of local buyers and the company reports a total clearance at auction. Breeding owes appreciated considerably in valuo on recent past sales, and in view of tho dry season experienced, a most satisfactory sale resulted. They quote: Two-tooth wethers (stores). 15s 2d; 4-th. ewes (small), 18s 7d ; 6-t,h. to 4yr. owes, 17s 6d; fat owes, 10s. Weaner pigs, 10s, 6s to ss.
