NATIONALISTS HELD UP.
THOUSANDS OF PRISONERS
Received March 28, 10.30 a.m. SEVILLE, March 27. The Nationalist- forces are 22 miles from Jaon. Ten thousand prisoners have been taken. The Nationalists crossed the Republicans’ fortifications between Puerto, Catatraveno and Penarroya, but were held up by concretelined trenches and galleries in Pedroclies Valley. General Miaja (Leader of the Republicans), and Generals Matallana and Menendez have arrived at Valencia.
