Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Alarch 28.

Fines aggregating £35. with costs £ll 2s, were imposed by Mr J. H. Salmon, S.M., on Albert Edward Davey, a farmer, of Jerusalem, for selling liquor to Maoris in a proclaimed area, keeping liquor for sale, and supplying liquor to Natives for consumption off licensed premises. Alexander Gay Roadman was fined £25, with costs £4, on similar charges, which included a fine of £5 for aiding and abetting Davey.
