After a lengthy discussion, slelbourne wool houses have increased the price ot wool packs for tho coming year liy 9d per pack, this rise reflecting the increase in the Calcutta market for these goods. The prices of all jute goods in India have been rising steadily, and now that the mills in that country have reached an agreement regarding working hours for the jute trade, the opinion in the city is that a strong position may be sustained.
