The report and balance-sheet showed that the debt on the hall had been reduced substantially. Arrangements were made for a “working bee” to make improvements to the hall. The following committee was elected: Messrs C. Crouchcr (chairman), 11. N. McEwen (secretary), D. Rowland. M. Richardson, C. Vickery, T. ITawko, S. Rowland. S. Richardson and W. McEwen. Mrs Ferguson is visiting relatives at Kakaramea. Mies I. Holden and M. Rowland have returned from a holiday spent at Dunedin and Christchurch. Much sympathy has been extended to Mrs Igglesden in her recent bereavement. The friends of Mrs Mochan will be pleased to learn that she has returned from hospital much improved in health. Miss I.
